Paul Badié’s transition from clay to paint was a natural – natural in that it was meant to be. Clay had given him artistic recognition, challenged his technical skills and provided him a form of expression. From adolescence to age 40, it was his world and in the end, he was its master.
As things changed in the outside world and it became possible for him to return to his familial roots, he closed the door on ceramics for a while and he turned to painting for his creative outlet.
From 1990 to the present, Paul Badié traveled, painted and reconnected with a distant past. This site represents a glimpse into his world.
